What happens to your data
What we collect, why we hold it, how we keep your name out of the analysis, and how to have it removed.
We collect the least we can, and we tell you what it is for. Here is the plain version.
What we hold
When you sign in, we keep your work email and a note of how you came to Flow. When you take the assessment, we keep your first name, anything you type about your role, your answers, and the write-up we build at the end. We do not ask for sensitive details. Other people’s private information does not belong in your answers.
We hold this to sign you back in, to run the assessment and build your write-up, to email it to you, and to show a team its own picture in aggregate. We do not sell it. We do not use it to advertise to you.
Your company may also name you as the owner of a tool on its tools list, by your work email. It is there so the company knows who is accountable for the tool. It stays as long as the tool does, and goes when you are erased. You see the same list on your own Write-ups page.
Your name stays out of the analysis
When AI writes the wording of your questions, your name and email are kept out of it. Flow adds your name to your own write-up afterwards, without the AI.
Who at Velory can reach it
Admins and managers see groups, and never a word you wrote. The two things they see about you by name are your level on the AI literacy check, which we tell you about before you answer it, and, for company admins alone, the tools your company lists you as owning. See what can my manager see?. Any Velory staff access to personal data is named and gated. There are no hidden back doors into your individual write-up. Who can see and do what lays out every role.
No tracking inside Flow
Flow’s own pages have no analytics and no ad trackers: not sign-in, not the assessment, not your write-up, not the admin pages. Our public homepage is the one place that runs Google Analytics. It counts visits there without cookies, and sets its cookies only if you accept. Our privacy policy has the details.
How to remove your data
Erasure is a real process a person runs, not a button that quietly wipes a record. Write to us at hello@velory.com. A person handles the request.
